24-hour home care in Atlanta. Cover through the night, or around the clock.
Nights are when most falls happen and when families sleep worst. Overnight cover means somebody is awake and listening, not asleep on the sofa.

What a caregiver does
- Awake overnight cover for someone who wanders or needs the bathroom
- Rotating caregivers for care needed every hour of the day
- Help getting to bed and up again
- A handover between shifts, so nothing has to be repeated
Who this suits
Someone who is unsafe alone at night, a family taking turns and running out of people, or the first weeks after a hospital discharge.
Why nights are different
Most falls happen at night, on the way to the bathroom, in a dark hallway, by someone half asleep. For a family, nights are also when the worry is worst: lying awake listening for a noise from the other end of the house, or waiting for a phone call from two hundred miles away.
Awake overnight cover means a caregiver who is up and listening. That is a different service from a live-in who sleeps, and we will be clear with you about which one you are buying.
How round-the-clock cover is staffed
Care needed every hour of the day is covered by rotating caregivers on shifts, with a handover at each change so nothing has to be explained twice. It is the most demanding thing we staff and the thing we are most likely to say no to if we cannot do it reliably.
That honesty matters more here than anywhere else. A gap in a 24-hour rota is not an inconvenience; it is somebody alone who cannot be alone.

Not sure what your parent actually needs?
That is the normal starting point. Describe the week and a care manager will tell you what would actually help, including if that is less than you think.

24-Hour and Overnight Care: common questions
What is the difference between 24-hour care and live-in?
24-hour care is rotating caregivers who are awake throughout. A live-in arrangement assumes the caregiver sleeps. If someone wanders or needs help through the night, awake cover is the one you need, and it is priced differently.
Can you start 24-hour care quickly after a discharge?
Care usually starts within 24 hours of the plan being agreed, but round-the-clock cover needs more caregivers free at once. Call as early as you can, ideally while the discharge is still being planned.
Is overnight priced the same as daytime?
No. Overnight, weekend and holiday hours are priced differently from weekday daytime, and the difference will be on your written quote before anything starts.
