Our services

What exceptional care actually gives a family.

Anyone can list tasks. What matters is what those tasks add up to: dignity, safety, and a house that still feels like home.

  1. 01

    Dignity, every morning

Your parent starts each day clean, dressed, and themselves. (Bathing, dressing, grooming, personal care.)

  2. 02

    Appetite and weight, protected

Favorite foods, eaten properly, so nutrition holds and decline slows. (Meal planning, shopping, cooking, sitting down to eat together.)

  3. 03

    Medication reminders

Caregivers prompt scheduled doses, write down what was taken and what was not, and report anything off, a refused dose, new confusion, a side effect, to the care manager, who calls the family and the physician. (Reminders and documentation, never administration.)

  4. 04

    Fewer falls, more confidence

Moving safely around a house they have lived in for thirty years, instead of being afraid of it. (Transfers, walking, bathroom safety, clearing trip hazards.)

  5. 05

    Appointments and errands handled

Driven to the doctor, the pharmacy and the grocery store, so they keep deciding where they go. (Transportation, waiting through the appointment, carrying it in.)

  6. 06

    Loneliness, lifted

A familiar face and a real conversation woven into the day, not a stranger on a rota. (Companionship, walks, cards, church, being in the house.)

You choose the hours and the tasks. Most families start with two or three mornings a week, and the minimum is four hours a visit with no minimum number of days. There is also respite for a family caregiver, 24-hour and overnight cover, dementia and Alzheimer’s care and care after a hospital stay. If you are not yet sure which of these a parent needs, compare the four kinds of senior care.

What a caregiver cannot do

This is non-medical care. A caregiver can remind someone to take medication but cannot administer it, give injections or change a dressing. If that is what is needed, say so on the call and we will point you to the right kind of provider.

Mix and match

Most families use three or four of these at once

You do not pick one service. A typical week is help around the house, a couple of meals, a drive to an appointment and someone to sit with.

We write the mix into the care plan and change it when things change. Call (404) 383-0778 and describe the week as it is now.

Not sure what your parent actually needs?

That is the normal starting point. Describe the week and a care manager will tell you what would actually help, including if that is less than you think.

What it costs

Nobody can quote you honestly without seeing the week.

You get a written number after the home visit, before anything starts. Three things move it.

  • How many hoursTwo mornings a week and round-the-clock cover are different businesses.
  • When those hours areOvernight, weekend and holiday hours are priced differently from weekday daytime.
  • What the work isHands-on personal care sits above help around the house.

Medicare does not pay for this

Not for ongoing help with bathing, dressing, meals or housekeeping. It covers short, skilled home health after a qualifying event, which is a different service. Families lose months waiting for Medicare to cover something it was never designed to cover. If a Medicare Advantage plan is in play, bring it to the call.

Four ways families pay for it

VA programs

Approved Homemaker and Home Health Aide or respite hours, or an Aid and Attendance pension paid to the household.

Long-term care insurance

Most policies cover this once the daily-activities trigger is met. We complete the logs and visit notes insurers ask for.

Georgia Medicaid waivers

Georgia runs CCSP and SOURCE for people who meet the financial and care criteria. We will tell you if it is realistic.

Private pay

Billed by the hour for hours actually worked. No deposit for a block of hours you may not use.
